Police and paramedics were called to Corowa High School earlier today after a teacher was injured by a student.

A NSW Police spokeswoman said a member of staff sustained a minor laceration to the hand in the incident.
She said a student was undergoing mental health assessment, but the school and classes had not been affected.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Principal Joanne Bellette wrote to parents to inform them a serious incident had occurred at the school site, which required a lock down.
She said the incident had been resolved, no students had been injured.
She advised classes had resumed and would conclude as normal.
