Hundreds of kilometres of fire-affected roads in north-east Victoria have been reopened in recent months in a joint effort between Regional Roads Victoria, Towong Shire Council, the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning, Victoria Police, Parks Victoria, VicForests and the Australian Defence Force.
VicRoads said fire-affected roads could be prone to landslides in heavy rain and storms, resulting in road closures at short notice.
Real-time traffic conditions are available at traffic.vicroads.vic.gov.au or via the VicTraffic mobile app.
