After announcing the competition will resume on July 12 to allow one full round of matches, the clubs and executive agreed awards shouldn't be a priority.
"There will be no Star Player, no top goal-scorer, no goalkeeper awards. There will be no individual awards this year, the only individual award we will do is best on ground for the cup final," AWFA president Mark Leman said.
ALSO IN SPORT:
"(Half a season) is not really a fair indication and it's not in the best interests of everyone.
"At the moment I think we should be really focusing on club unity and playing a team sport as a team.
There will be no individual awards this year, the only individual award we will do is best on ground for the cup final.

"The clubs all agreed to that in the MC meeting last week."
Wangaratta's Adam Burchell and St Pats star Claire Mahoney each won the Star Player for the second time in their careers last season.
Mahoney was a runaway winner of the top award for the senior women, picking up a mammoth 39 votes.
