Businesses in Alpine Shire are finding new ways to recover from the bushfires and coronavirus, jumping on board the "Buy From Bright" initiative.

The website www.buyfrombright.com.au already has 20 businesses with products for sale and another 15 will soon join them.
"One of the benefits of being involved in the 'buy from' platform is that the marketing dollar goes much further," Alpine Council economic and community development manager Elaine Burridge said.
"Buy from Bright is different to a simple online store - it's a collaboration between many businesses, resulting in sharing of resources and greater exposure to potential customers."
Myrtleford and Mount Beauty stores will be online in the coming weeks.
Supported by Alpine Council, Mansfield company Issimo, Startup Shakeup, and Ovens Murray Regional Partnership, Buy from Bright is the first step in a council-wide e-commerce initiative.
