Dunn and Darcy McNamara are accused of causing the death of Wangaratta man Nathan Day on or about July 26, 2018.
Lawyers for Dunn will return to court on Thursday, while Darcy McNamara is next due to appear in court in July.
A trial had been scheduled to begin in Shepparton in May, but was delayed along with all Victorian trials due to a ban on juries being used during the coronavirus pandemic.
