WESTERN Australia's border closure has provided a boost for some towns in our part of the world.
Tim Parker, his wife Penny and sons Josh, 11, and Liam, 9, should have been in Perth for school holidays this week.
Instead the COVID-19 hit has seen the Melburnians instead head to Yarrawonga-Mulwala, Rutherglen and Bright for a few days.

"We've had them on our list for awhile because we've done a few others on the western side of Victoria and in South Australia," Mr Parker said.
