Osborne made a sensational start to the AFL Riverina Championship by upsetting Wagga Tigers by 15-points at Wagga's Robertson Oval on Saturday.
The young Ostriches led at every change with veteran midfielder Matt Rava, recruits Ed and Nick Perryman and captain Duncan McMaster playing starring roles.
Coach Joel Mackie, who was unable to play due to coronavirus restrictions, was ecstatic with the victory.
"How good was that? The boys showed a lot of spirit and fight particularly after they headed us late in the third quarter," Mackie said.
Wagga Tigers' Jon Buchanan played well for his side kicking three goals.
