Murray Conservatorium has expressed its appreciation to Albury's Elaine Buchhorn for her contribution.
Miss Buchhorn, now 92, taught hundreds of regional students from her home studio over many decades.
Conservatorium chief executive Jenny O'Hara said future generations of keyboard students would experience the benefits of the former teacher's gesture.
"Her donation is more than the physical instruments, but is also the precious gift of music," Ms O'Hara said.
"Elaine's generosity helps support Murray Conservatorium to continue to thrive and serve our local musical community and we are very grateful."
