Although the department has attributed the case to the Wodonga Local Government Area, it is not believed the resident is currently in the region.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Murrumbidgee Local Health District and Albury Wodonga Health have both confirmed the positive test was not recorded through their facilities.
The department has refused clarify where the resident is citing 'privacy concerns'.
