Veteran player Ian Beath showed his form was just as good as ever when the two sides took to the pitch.
In the other men's game, Orange took on Red in an evenly matched contest played north of the border.
Two goals into the back of the net courtesy of Orange's Dave Foster and James Ellis put them in good stead, despite some excellent defensive pressure from Red's Matt Graham and goal keeper Scott Anderson.
