O and M players were set to context next month's Canberra Cup, but it has been rescheduled for late November for the seniors and early December for juniors due to COVID-19 concerns.
"It was really disappointing that we can't go as planned, but we're looking on the bright side in that we get a couple more months to train," under 14 girls' coach Darcy Millett said.
"Our Victorian girls wouldn't have been able to play if it was in September, so hopefully the Border issues will allow them to play in December."

The closure of the Border between NSW and Victoria means Wodonga-based players aren't allowed to play sport in either the northern state or the ACT.
"It's such a high standard and it's great to be able to play in the Canberra Cup as practice for the nationals, where we come across even higher standard teams."
