Forest Fire Management Victoria recovery teams have completed the on-ground assessments as part of the state government's boundary fencing program for lines adjoining national parks and state forests.
The scheme gave eligible landowners $5000 a kilometre for materials to repair or upgrade the fences.

Upper Murray district manager Dave Jenson said crews also completed more than 170kms of hazardous tree works to reduce the risk to landholders, contractors and BlazeAid volunteers.
"We know that clearing and rebuilding fencing that's been damaged by fire is backbreaking work and to be able to support landholders as they rebuild is extremely pleasing," he said.
The Upper Murray fires were started by lighting on December 29, 2019, and burnt about 226,000 hectares of public and private land.
