Nick Murray's hopes of a grand final berth for his junior club Ganmain Grong Grong Matong have been shattered after he broke his collarbone in the final seconds of today's AFL Riverina Championship semi-final win.

The Lions ended Mangoplah-Cookardinia United-Eastlakes' season with a 30-point win at Wagga's Robertson Oval.
The ease of the win and the lateness of the incident meant many at the ground didn't realise the extent of the injury to Murray.
"I went up for a mark and came down and was winded," he said from Wagga Base Hospital just moments ago.
"Once I got over being winded, I felt my (left) shoulder and you could see it sticking out."
Murray spent part of his childhood in the Ganmain region and was just one win away from tackling Wagga Tigers in the decider.
The Lions will now meet Leeton Whitton on Saturday for the other grand final berth.
