And while franchisees TJ Gurm and Rasheed Sheikh-Omar admit pizza "can't solve all the world's problems" they are dedicated to helping those in need by providing safe, hot meals to locals in Wodonga.
As part of Domino's new community program Feed the Knead, the store has donated more than 210 pizzas in just the past week.
"I understand it is a privilege to be able to operate and safely feed those in the community during this time," Mr Sheikh-Omar said.
"That is why we are doing everything possible to live up to that privilege and to return the support that our community has so generously shown us.
"So, whether you have lost your job due to COVID-19, are struggling with mental health in isolation, or simply to put food on the table, we want to do what we can to help.
"We know that pizza can't solve all of the world's problems, but it can bring a small slice of joy to a bad day."
Mr Sheikh-Omar joined Domino's in 2016, climbing the ranks before taking the leap to partner with Mr Gurm and become a first-time franchisee.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Since taking over ownership of Domino's Wodonga with Mr Gurm in late September, the pair remain dedicated to supporting those within the local community.
With more than 14 years of pizza experience, Mr Gurm said he is passionate about being present with his new team and providing as much support as he can to locals in Wodonga.
"In this time of extreme uncertainty, where some people may not know when or where their next paycheck is coming from, the offer of a hot meal is the least we can do to help," he said.
"There is no doubt the pandemic has had a devastating impact on many people lives, and we want the local community to know we are in this together.
"We encourage any local Wodonga residents, businesses, organisations, clubs and groups in need of a safe, hot meal to reach out."
