The four ovals are closed until the end of March as major drainage and resurfacing works take place.
The project is funded by the Greater Hume Shire.
The final cost of the works are $382,176 (Culcairn), $385,139 (Holbrook), $348,569 (Henty) and $409,448 (Jindera).
The cricket clubs in each town will be forced to find alternative venues.

Pre-season football training and matches will also be affected with the grounds not expected to be ready until the eve of the 2021 season.
Culcairn president Andrew Godde said the works were long overdue with little being done to improve the Culcairn oval since the 1960s.
"The grounds are closed and ours got sprayed last week," Godde said.
"Most of the work involves getting the drainage right and putting in a sprinkler system.
"The grounds will also be resurfaced.
"It's been a long time in the making and the last time the ground went under and major redevelopment work was in the 1960s.
"So we are pretty excited about it all even though it looks doubtful that we will be able to hold any pre-season matches."
