The most serious allegations against Shir were dropped during his most recent court appearance in Sydney, following the incident on January 10.
He had entered Rosie Jacobs' home a short time after the pair split up.
The 39-year-old took off his shirt and tried to cuddle her and resisted her demands that he leave.
Shir eventually left and was arrested the following morning before being bailed.
