Souquet was under the impression that he could ride at Albury because he resides inside the bubble.
Racing NSW stewards were content for Souquet to ride at the meeting as long as he self-isolated for five days afterwards.
However, Racing Victoria stewards ruled Souquet would instead have to complete 14-days self-isolation if he rode at Albury.

"The Victorian stewards rang me on Thursday to say if I rode at Albury I would have to do 14-days," Souquet said.
"So that wasn't an option because I'm not allowed to ride track work and I would lose too much fitness-wise not riding.
"I contacted Racing NSW stewards and they had no dramas with me riding because Albury and Corowa fall inside the bubble.
"Missing out on five rides and a few barrier trials hurts because it's around $1000 in my pocket after tax."
