Bonat added his second zone singles crown to the pairs he previously won with clubmate Matthew Richens with a hard-fought 31-25 victory against Tumbarumba's Brock Shore in the final.
He drew last year's champion Tony Parkes (West Wyalong Services and Citizens) first up, who beat him in the decider, winning 31-22 to move to the semis, where he survived a major scare from Narrandera's Phillip Miller before prevailing, 31-27.

"I didn't worry about booking accommodation because I thought I would be coming home Saturday afternoon," Bonat admitted.
"He (Parkes) was the number one seed in my eyes, but I got through that one."
COVID-19 has shaken up the Bowls NSW calendar, with Bonat set to play against the state's other zone winners in February or March.
"I just want to make my local club happy and show that anyone from any club can achieve anything," he said.
Henty's Glenn Harrison was beaten in the first round of the open singles by Temora's Bruce Lack, 31-27, who went on to win the tournament.
Zone championships continue at Ariah Park with the pairs this weekend.
North Albury's Stephen Broad and Norm Honey will represent Albury and District in the open event, Lavington's Fred Markham and Les Waldron contest the pairs, while Urana's Mike Hodgess and Mick Dunnett compete for the president's reserve title.
