After an extended absence due to COVID-19 and Victorian restrictions, WAVES Wodonga is preparing to open its doors for the 2020/21 season.

Wodonga Sports and Leisure Centre announced the news online saying WAVES will open on November 23.
"With weather set to hear up soon, it's time to dust off your goggles and find your beloved bathers as we prepare for another outdoor pool season of fun," it said.
The pool will have to adhere to strict government advice.
IN OTHER NEWS:
A capacity limit of 50 people per pool, or the number of people allowed under the four-square metre rule, will be in place.
All patrons over the age of 12 must wear masks when not in the pool.
Changerooms, showers and toilets will be open.
Staff have also been trained in COVID safe practices.
