Victoria Police said the sedan, driven by a 20-year-old North Albury woman, failed to give way to a prime mover around 10pm on the intersection of Murray Valley Highway and Bonegilla Road.
The car is believed to have flipped after hitting the truck, with the driver and her passengers having to be rescued from the wreckage.
Police, ambulance, firefighters and SES crews were on scene of the accident.

"A 20-year-old North Albury woman has been fined $289 for failing to give way at an intersection," a police spokeswoman said.
"The woman allegedly entered the intersection Murray Valley Highway and Bonegilla Road about 10pm, and collided with a prime mover travelling west on Murray Valley Highway.
"The sedan was extensively damaged, and the driver and her two passengers were conveyed to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries."
The driver of the truck was not injured, and the truck was driveable.
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman told The Border Mail paramedics were called to the collision at 9.56pm.
"AV paramedics assessed a teenage female for neck pain and another teenage female for a head injury," she said.
"Both patients were taken to Albury Wodonga Health in a stable condition."
The 20-year-old driver was treated by NSW Ambulance. The Border Mail is waiting on their report.
