The standout was the section three men's tussle between Forrest Hill Tigers and Glenly Gold.
A dominant final rubber by Gavin Dykes and Terry Nelson saw Tigers home in a thriller.
Dykes remained unbeaten, while Henry Parker and Andrew Broughton were best for Glenly in the one-game defeat.
A three-set haul from Simon Farrell was key in Wodonga Pirates' narrow victory over Albury Foxes.
Leigh Gadd, Sam Ebert and Zach Tamburini provided support, with Marcus Flanigan claiming two sets for Albury.
The opening two stanzas were split before Wodonga Knights powered away from club mates Eagles.
Craig Farrar and Chris Rokahr were good all afternoon for the winners, with Jazz McNamara battling hard for his team.
The other match saw Albury Gold comfortable winners over Thurgoona Bears.

Elsewhere, Forest Hill Eagles accounted for St Patricks/Diggerville Hilfiger.
In women's action, Wodonga Larrikins withstood Wodonga Diamonds' early challenge before completing a straightforward win.
Di Larkin, Kendall Oates and Rhonda Wilson all played a role, with Paula Ebert solid for Diamonds.
SPD Red and Forest Hill easily defeated Wodonga Aces and SPD Pink, respectively.
The pick of section two saw Wodonga Bushrangers record a hard-fought seven-game salute over Sacred Heart.
Mark Neil was consistent all day for the winners, with support from Terry McLean, Brett Robertson and John McVean.
Albury Gold finished strongly, taking the final two rubbers to defeat SPD Black.
Sean Pillay, Greg Tuck, Jack Penny and Rob Cabion combined well, while Jack Nelson was a two-set winner for Black.
In the remaining match, Forest Hill Galahs was too strong for Thurgoona Sharks.
Albury Hawks did the bulk of their work in the middle of afternoon before accounting for SPD Blue in an entertaining section four clash.
Ben Pendlebury, Harry Ellis and Nic Lamb all contributed to the win, while Arkley Sexton was best for Blue.
Forrest Hill Lions got past Thurgoona Lions, with Dylan Ferguson unbeaten.
Tom Sheather was the standout in SPD Purple's triumph over SPD Gold.
Forest Hill Rosellas and SPD Yellow had victories over Albury Eagles and Thurgoona Panthers.
Albury Vipers toppled Albury Cougars in the pick of section five, SPD Black was too good for Forest Hill Swans, likewise SPD Purple over Albury Magpies.
Meanwhile, in Tuesday ladies section one pennant, Wurtz (5-36) accounted for Peacock (1-19), Bulle (4-35) downed Spencer (2-28), while Sands (4-33) withstood Landy (2-26).
Sheil (5-34) were winners over Aylmore (1-21) in section two, with Howard (5-34) too strong for Quirk (1-23).
Section three saw Merritt and Huckstepp prevail against Johnson and Jones, respectively.
