But magistrate Richard Funston said that was only because of her "good work" in rehabilitating herself over the past year.

If not for her efforts in kicking her habit, Tammi Parnaby would have ended up back in custody.

The 37-year-old has been back out of jail for several months after being bailed to live in Sydney with her daughter.

During that time she has remained drug-free, Albury Local Court has heard, away from her previous criminal associates in Albury.

She has been living in Wodonga for the past couple of weeks while awaiting sentence for supplying a prohibited drug and several charges relating to stolen property.

Mr Funston sentenced her on Tuesday to a seven-month intensive corrections order.

He said that while the individual methamphetamine supply deals were only for small amounts of about 0.2 grams, in total this amounted to far more serious offending, with sales totalling $2620.

Mr Funston told Parnaby she should immediately report to Community Corrections to get supervision under way for the order.

"It's that's serious, report within 48 hours - go this afternoon," he said.

Parnaby had pleaded guilty to receiving property stolen outside of NSW in relation to a police search on November 17, 2018, of a Plover Street, North Albury, rental property she was sharing with her then partner and co-offender.

Police found a stainless steel oven that had been stolen from a house under construction at Leneva the previous month.

Parnaby claimed the oven was there when they moved in, but the property owner said she didn't know of the oven.

The owner also said she had received a text message from Parnaby stating she had "got a new oven, it appears it's a lil' to (sic) big".

Mr Funston said he found especially serious a dealing with criminal proceeds charge where Parnaby and her partner tried to sell power tools, plus a mini-bike, valued at $7820 pinched from an East Albury tradesman.
