A West Albury woman's sentencing over an incident where she rammed her car into a police vehicle to avoid arrest has been delayed.

But Albury Local Court magistrate Richard Funston has warned Kate Eileen Mildren she was unlikely to be freed from custody.
"Well, she's getting a full-time jail sentence before me today, she knows that," he said.

But Mr Funston allowed an adjournment so matters relating to her breach of an order over a $4000 Medicare fraud could also be put before the court.
Mildren, whose criminal record includes other serious driving-related offences, including a police pursuit, told Mr Funston via a video link to jail that she was "very remorseful"
She said she had experienced a "slight delay" with embarking on a drug rehabilitation program.
"I did relapse, I'm not making excuses I just want you to take that into consideration."
Mr Funston again pointed out to Mildren that she would be getting a jail term when sentenced on the adjourned date of December 14, "but we had might as well wait until we have everything finalised with the Commonwealth breach".

Mildren, of Waratah Crescent, pleaded guilty to two counts of dangerous driving, two second offences of disqualified driving, using an offensive weapon to prevent a police investigation, using an unregistered and uninsured vehicle and negligent driving.
She also pleaded guilty to failing to comply with sentenced passed in relation to the Commonwealth charge of obtaining a financial advantage by deception.
The court heard police were in Captain Cook Drive in North Albury on October 23, just before 8am, when they saw a black Holden Commodore head east on Resolution Street.
They followed the car, which had no number plates.
The car was travelling slowly so the police car moved in front.
But as they maneuvered their vehicle Mildren accelerated away, driving down the middle of the road in the rain.
Mildren lost control of her car at the intersection with Burrows Road, travelling along the grass nature strip for about 25 metres.
Again, police stopped in front of her, so she accelerated and crashed into the front of their vehicle.
Mildren grabbed her handbag and tried to flee, but on seeing the police get out of their car got back into the Commodore.
She was then arrested
