Duryea endured a disastrous spring after both his stable stars suffered injuries.
News Girl was ruled out for the spring after suffering a tendon tear in September.
The five-year-old mare has since had surgery and arrived back at Duryea's property on Tuesday.

The veteran trainer said his multiple city winner was expected to make a full recovery.
"We picked her up from Wangaratta where she has been recuperating. I took her out to the paddock (Wednesday) morning," Duryea told racing.com
"She went and had a scan and got another really, really good result. It's healing terrific, so all we need to do is give her a bit of time.
"They reckon there's no reason why she can't come back as good as gold."
Duryea said News Girl could be back racing by late autumn while Front Page is also close to resuming work.
