Broughton Bird, 66, died at his property east of Daysdale last Tuesday in an incident involving a header.
He suffered head injuries and died instantly.
The driver was taken to hospital for mandatory testing and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
The incident was a major shock to the region, and farmers gathered last weekend to harvest a bumper barley crop on one of his properties near Coreen.
