Regent Junior will show an advanced screening of the animated kids movie Dragon Rider from Saturday with sessions of Trolls World Tour Thursday and Friday.
Regent Cinemas Albury manager Kelly Davis said the revamped cinema was all about "getting kids to enjoy the movie experience".
"It is just really exciting and we can't wait to welcome families to our new Regent Junior cinema," she told The Border Mail.
"Kids arrive early for their movie and can have fun in the play area sponsored by Mega Bloks and Hot Wheels, plus their drawings can come to life on the big screen with Vertigo.
"Each Regent Junior session includes 30 minutes of play before the film, special kids menu available at the candy bar, modified volume and lighting levels to suit the little ones, and a 10-minute intermission during the film for those pesky restroom stops and to stretch those legs."

Ms Davis said while COVID has delayed a lot of blockbusters from showing in 2020, the first major new release is here in just over two weeks.
"We are thrilled that we will have Wonder Woman 1984 showing from Boxing Day," she said. "Next year the lineup is really stacked as so many release dates were pushed back so there is going to be plenty of new movies to see next year.
"We are now operating at around 70 per cent with COVID restrictions so it is great to see people coming back in and enjoying the movies.
"It is also a great time to start using those vouchers we all have lying around and if you are stuck for gifts a movie gift voucher is a great idea.
"I think everyone is looking at giving experiences rather than possessions after the year we have had."
