Commercial Albury Golf Club's Sam Bakes will play in the Gen Z pro-am series in Wodonga on January 13.
Bakes became his club's youngest club champion at just 14 last March.
He's contested two of Albury's own pro-am events with Wangaratta product Andrew Kelly and fellow Victorian pro Jack Wilson.
"I noticed they don't really make any bad mistakes and they're always giving themselves a chance of getting a birdie or a guaranteed par, whereas I'll put myself out of position," Bakes said.
