The young gun played a starring role in his side's 34-run win against competition leaders CAW at Kelly Park on Sunday.
With early wickets falling around him, Hoskin compiled a patient 35 at the top of the order as he and St Patrick's junior Max Heriot resurrected the innings.

Heriot hit seven boundaries in his knock of 40 from 31 balls to get CAW Country to a competitive total of 142.
But Hoskin wasn't finished there, picking up 3-11 from his eight overs with the ball to restrict CAW to 8-108.
Baranduda's Charlie Bowles was the standout for CAW with 3-21 and 32 not out.
CAW Country coach Nathan Odgers said everyone contributed to the result.
"We were in trouble at the start and the boys came back," he said.
"It's been a really good team effort with the bowling, fielding and the batting."
CAW Country captain Noah Spry returns for the must-win clash against Wangaratta Blue at Baranduda on Monday.
CAW Hume (4-146) picked up its first win against Wagga (130) at Yerong Creek.
