The CAW Country girls moved to top spot in the women's competition with a game to play against Shepparton thanks to a 52-run win against CAW at Noreuil Park yesterday.
Zarlie Goldsworthy steered CAW Country to 6-111 with an unbeaten 30 at the top of the order, but CAW's Sophie Panozzo (3-7) and Annabelle Hocking (2-9) starred with the ball and were both on hat tricks.
Goldsworthy backed it up with 2-1 with the ball to restrict CAW to 8-59.

Maddy Howard coached both sides and was proud to see how far the players have come in a short space of time.
"It was a challenge (to coach two teams) because I wanted them both to do really well," Howard said.
"We have girls who were 12 through to 17.
"It's surprising how well the young girls have performed. They all played like they were the same age which was good."
Both CAW Country and CAW meet Shepparton in T20 matches on January 31.
Meanwhile, the CAW under-13 boys secured a grand final berth with a gutsy four-wicket win over Wagga at Xavier High School.
Wagga was on top at 1-95 from its first 20 overs, but a major collapse saw it lose 9-35 to be dismissed for 139.
Captain Baxter Wilson changed the momentum with a screamer of a catch at gully and Hitanshu Pillay also clung on to a sharp chance at mid-wicket.
Will McCoy was on fire with 4-14, while Beau Nicklin (2-22) and Mackenzie Clifford (1-13) also kept the pressure on.
The chase was set up by an unbeaten half century from Chad Brookes, his second of the tournament.
Coach Chris Derrick was thrilled with the way his side stuck to the task.
"It was a very fast ground and Wagga have had some really good results over the first three rounds," he said.
"We thought at 1-95 off 20 overs they certainly had the initiative, but we went back after drinks and it was a different game of cricket.
"Sometimes these smaller chases can be really hard, but ball after ball, Chad had really good concentration and focus and played each ball as it came. We kept chipping away and eventually got over the line.
"They were competitive and played hard cricket, but they were supporting their teammates rather than trying to upset the batsman.
"It's a well deserved effort from a group of kids we've had together for the last three years or so."
CAW will take on Wangaratta Blue in the decider on January 31.
CAW and CAW Country will clash in the under-14s and under-15s, CAW faces Wangaratta Gold in the under-16s, while Wangaratta is set to meet Wagga in the under-17s grand final.
Wangaratta Blue and Wangaratta Gold will face off in the under-12 Stars, while the under-12s Thunder saw CAW Hume and Wagga finish in the top two but a final is yet to be confirmed as Wagga has other rep commitments on January 31.
