Dylan Meyers has a large number of offences awaiting sentence in court.
The 19-year-old, who has lived between homes in the Wodonga and Wangaratta regions, has served more than 130 days on remand and is looking at more time over an aggravated burglary.
The Wangaratta Magistrates Court has heard that Meyers was linked to a large number of other offences last year.
Police pulled over a maroon Ford he was driving in Shepparton on September 4, a few weeks before the home break-in.
The car wasn't registered, Meyers didn't have a licence, and he said he was "drunk as".
He gave a breath test and was asked to go back to the police station.

"No I refuse that," he told officers and continued to refuse after being told the consequences.
Magistrate Ian Watkins asked lawyer Kymberley Skillen what happened.
"It says 14 cans in an hour?" he said, to which she replied "yes".
"It's a very big drink," the magistrate replied.
"I'm not sure that would be physically possible, but OK."
Meyers has been in protection in custody and Mr Watkins said he still needed to spend further time locked up.
"I'm not minded for time served," he said.
"The charges of aggravated burglary are extremely serious."
Meyers has a string of other traffic offences pending.
He will return for sentence on February 23.
