Beechworth Wanderers A grade women's team will make history on Sunday.
The club entered a team in the Goulburn Murray Cricket Association's open-age women's competition this season and will contest the grand final against Echuca at Kyabram.

Batter Sophie Panozzo, from Kiewa, and Dederang spin bowler Megan Moyle are part of the group, which ranged in age from 12 to 55.

The final will be a T20 match.
