
A man has been taken to hospital and the Sturt Highway remains under slow conditions after a truck and car crashed east of Wagga overnight.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of the Sturt Highway and Mates Gully Road at Borambola around 4am.
"It looks like a vehicle has crashed into a truck," a spokesperson for NSW Police confirmed, adding police were still on scene soon after 7am.

A man believed to be aged in his 20s, who was reported to have been ejected from the vehicle, was treated by paramedics at the scene, a NSW Ambulance representative said.
He was then taken to Wagga Base Hospital with suspected spinal injuries.
Stop/slow conditions are in place on the highway this morning as the clean-up continues and investigations into how the crash occurred are carried out.
Diesel was spilled in the course of the crash and motorists are advised to allow extra time and follow directions as they move around the scene.
"There may be short stops of all traffic of up to 15 minutes," NSW Live Traffic has advised.
