Gary Ablett Jr's visit to Myrtleford today has been cancelled at the last minute.
The AFL great was due to attend a Myrtleford Saints training session and be interviewed at a $55-a-head dinner.
Organisers of the McNamara Reserve function took to social media to share the 'A night with Gary Ablett Jr' event had been postponed.
"We regret to inform you that unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, tonight's show with AFL champion Gary Ablett Jnr has been postponed," Myrtleford Alpine Saints Football & Netball Club said.

"We are terribly sorry to have to bring you this news, but please note event organisers have assured us that Gary Ablett will still be coming to Myrtleford at a rescheduled day and time.
"We hope to finalise a new date in the coming period, and will communicate this to everyone as soon as possible."
Earlier this month the club feared they would have to cancel the event due to the snap five-day Victorian lockdown, but after restrictions were eased Saints president Ian Wales confirmed it would go ahead.
"We have had a terrific response from the community and we are almost at our limit in regards to restrictions on crowds," Wales said earlier this week.
"Gary won't train with the players but will attend the training session and the players will get to meet him.
"After training we will hold the function and Gary will mingle with the crowd before taking to the stage to be interviewed by Tim Cossor."
