New figures released by the Australian Taxation Office reveal there is $29.06 million worth of lost and unclaimed superannuation linked to Albury-Wodonga postcodes.
Workers can have lost or unclaimed super attached to their name if they have moved jobs, changed address or forgotten to update details with their super fund in the last few years.
Farrer MP Sussan Ley said across her electorate there is more than $45 million worth of super waiting to be claimed.
"Local numbers indicate there are 4292 lost and unclaimed super accounts from the Albury and Lavington postcodes totalling over $15.6 million dollars," she said.
"There has been $7 billion already been reunited with workers across the nation, but with $13.8 billion still waiting it is worth taking the time to check.
"In just a few clicks you could be boosting your super balance. The ATO has done all the work for you.
"No need to search, no need to hand over information. If you have lost or unclaimed super, it will be sitting there waiting for you.
"If nothing out of the ordinary appears, your super is up-to-date and in order."

Across the Albury postcode of 2640, 2856 accounts worth $11,005,171 is reported as lost or unclaimed.
In the 2641 postcode, 1436 accounts have $4,606, 831 waiting to be claimed. In Wodonga, the 3690 postcode has 2662 accounts totalling $9,979,951 and the 3691 postcode has 645 accounts with $3,075,775 sitting there waiting to be claimed by workers.
