A man told police that boredom led him to perform doughnuts with his car in a Wangaratta park.
Wangaratta police said the Taylors Lakes man was arrested and bailed for criminal damage in Merriwa Park and would lose his vehicle for 30 days.
"Boredom was given for the reason for doughnuts in the park after recent heavy rain, causing damage that will take significant time to repair, affecting the use and availability of facilities to the public," police said on Wednesday, thanking the people who had assisted in the man's apprehension.
