A Beer Deluxe employee is facing a serious assault charge after a pub patron was thrown headfirst into a footpath on Saturday night.
Albury investigators on Monday arrested a 31-year-old pub employee and charged him with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The man works at the venue, not for external security.
It's alleged the man picked up the 37-year-old victim from the footpath outside the venue after the man was ejected.
Video footage shows the man on his back surrounded by security.
An employee in a puffy jacket can be seen picking up the man and throwing him, causing the man to hit his head on the pavement.
The alleged victim was arrested for failing to move on.
Police later noticed the man had a cut on his head.
An investigation led to the hotel worker being issued a court attendance notice.
He will appear before Albury Local Court on May 17.
