Jaydon Moon, also known as Jaydon Doran, was injured after allegedly smashing into the police vehicle on Wagga Road on Thursday morning.
It followed a 360-kilometre manhunt over 48 hours, stretching from the Border to Kyabram and back.
The 25-year-old, who is also wanted in the Wodonga region for a series of burglaries, is facing 15 charges including predatory driving, police pursuit, drug possession, using an offensive weapon to avoid arrest and more.

Moon was being held in hospital following his arrest and had matters mentioned in Albury Local Court yesterday.
He did not appear in person and did not apply for bail.
His matters will return to court on May 18.
Police recently released a mugshot of Moon, who had a warrant out to revoke his parole.
Domestic violence related charges are also pending in court.
