Hill had been resting an ankle injury but took to the court at the Lavington Sports Ground to aid in the visitors eight goal victory against the Panthers.
After battling injuries and two consecutive losses, coach Sarah Moore admitted it was a crucial game.
"Having Rochelle come back into the side was certainly a massive boost for us," Moore said.
"You can't really replace her.
"We knew that this was a game that we had to win.
"When we took the lead, we weren't going to let it go."
A dominant 15-5 final quarter helped seal the deal for the Tigers.
Moore admitted rotating herself, Skye Hillier and Emily Rodd in goals helped to leave a bit in the tank.
"I tried to think ahead a bit because I knew it was going to be tight leading into that last quarter," she said.
"After resting for a quarter or so we had a bit more legs."
Thurgoona premiership player Kristen Andrews was best-on-court for Albury, in what is her first season in the Ovens and Murray competition.
"She's starting to find her feet in the side and the level of competition she's up against," Moore said.
"She's very clever and composed with the ball."
The Tigers were also aided by defenders Sarah Anstee and Sarah Mellington, who stepped up into the side after already playing a game.
"They were brilliant," Moore said.
"After playing four quarters in their respective grades, they were coming back in fatigued and they just killed it."
Midcourt players Maddy Lloyd and Julia Rossiter were the best for the Panthers, with Maddy Plunkett shooting 26 goals.
It marked the Tigers second win of the season, while the Panthers have secured three.
In other results, Wodonga Raiders pulled off an upset win against Wangaratta Rovers at Birallee Park.
