Albury-Wodonga Bandits men's side defeated by Kilsyth Cobras

The border side was in the mix at half time, before a costly second half saw them overrun by the Cobras at the Lauren Jackson Sports Centre.

The visitors posted a 30-14 fourth quarter to take out the game by 29-points.

Talented Kiwi recruit Mitch Dance was the Bandits' highest scorer for the night with 18-points, while also aiding with six rebounds.

Johnny Crnogorac contributed 14 points and 10 rebounds, while border product Jacob Cincurak and Us born Sharif Watson both landed 12 points in the clash.

Kilsyth's Adrian Tomada was the game's biggest scorer with 22-points.

The result marked the widest losing margin the side has had so far this season, after being defeated narrowly by Ballarat, Melbourne Tigers, Knox and Waverley.

The Bandits join the Dandenong Rangers in being the only sides in the competition yet to claim a win, with the Diamond Valley Eagles currently leading the table.

Another encounter with the Waverley Falcons now looms, with the Bandits to meet them at the Lauren Jackson Sports Centre for round five.

The last time the two sides played at the Waverley Basketball Centre, the home side had the advantage by 12-points.

Following that clash the Bandits will hit the road for their second double header.
