Falcons moved into top spot on the Hockey Albury-Wodonga division one women's ladder with a 2-0 win against the undefeated Wodonga at Albury Hockey Centre on Sunday.
The reigning premiers dominated from the first whistle and scored both goals in the first quarter as Kate Bardy netted a brace.
Magpies split the points in a 1-1 draw with Norths.
Lily Robertson scored in the first quarter for Magpies, but Norths equalised in the last 10 minutes.
In division one men's matches, Norths suffered its first loss with a shock 4-1 defeat to Magpies.
