Smith will come into the halves with Harry Reicher aggravating a back complaint in the Border side's shock 22-18 win over Gundagai last time out.
Coach Adrian Purtell, who is out with an ankle issue, believes having Smith's experience is a real boost.
"He's a good inclusion for us," Purtell said.

"With a young team, it is going to be great to have someone with his ability and experience joining us."
After the general bye, Purtell hopes his sides can back up its breakthrough performance in its clash against Tumut at Laurie Daley Oval on Sunday.
"It was a really impressive performance and I was just so happy for the boys to get a win after a tough opening three rounds," he said.
"The challenge in Group 9, and at any first grade level, is to back that up with consistent performances."
