A goal to Melkie Woldemichael in the 27th minute was all that separated the Greens and Albury City in the 1-0 semi-final win at Jelbart Park on Wednesday night.
They await the victor of Wangaratta and Boomers in the other semi-final at Willow Park next Wednesday.
Greens' midfielder Gauthier Robin said the win shows how far the side has come.

"Matt Campbell (United coach) has built a really strong team and all of us want to win something this season, so we are very happy to be in the final. This is the result of hard work," he said.
"Unfortunately, we've got a lot of injuries on field with Kris Wheeler and particularly for our goalkeepers (Ryan Withers, Jason Berkhout, and Josh Fluss), but this year we have a lot of quality players involved in first grade.
"It's particularly hard to play midweek between two big games (Myrtleford and Boomers). but for me it's a good thing to have the FA Cup because anything can happen.
"A top team can be beaten by an outsider and this is the magic of the cup."
United's women also progressed to the final after a forfeit from Boomers.
