The visitors blasted the Bulldogs with a seven goal quarter in racing to a 34-point lead before both landed eight apiece after that in the Pies' 15.13 (103) to 10.4 (64) win.
"We looked for a sharp start, that's probably the best we've started a match," forward Josh Porter explained.
After a week away playing back home in Alice Springs, Abraham Ankers exploded back to his best.
"Abe dominated, he kicked three (goals) and would have had 30 touches again," Porter revealed.
Porter also nailed three majors to join the boom recruit in the best, while Michael Newton booted three in the first term and five overall.
On-baller Matt Kelly had racked up 20 touches to half-time, while utility Daniel Sharrock also starred.
