Jaydon Mark Moon, 25, could only manage to mumble a "yeah" after magistrate Richard Funston greeted him via a video link to Parklea jail on Tuesday.

Defence lawyer Mitchell Irwin told Albury Local Court that the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions had elected to prosecute Moon's matters related to the incident involving police.

It has been alleged that Moon, of Wodonga, smashed into the police vehicle on the morning of April 29, following a 360-kilometre, two-day manhunt from the Border to Kyabram and return.

Moon is facing 15 charges, including predatory driving, police pursuit, drug possession and using an offensive weapon to avoid arrest, plus domestic violence matters.

Mr Irwin asked Mr Funston to adjourn the case for several weeks to allow for the preparation of the brief of evidence.

Moon was refused bail to reappear on June 29.
