After a fiercely fought second half with both teams pushing forward into their oppositions' circle, Wodonga's Danielle McLeish scored off a deflection to seal the result.

Falcons were 7-0 winners against CR United, with doubles to Sally Borella and Ellie Florence.
Alison Stock, Amy Bardy and Casey Hunter also netted goals, while Jess Madden was the standout as so controlled play across the field.
The season continues on Sunday with Norths and Wodonga and Magpies and CR United to meet in men's and women's clashes, while Falcons' men await Wombats.
