But the Lockhart playing coach will come up against her most familiar opponents this weekend when the Demons take on Osborne.
Hailing from the Riverina League, Norbury has previously played most of her netball around the Wagga area.
She said Tigers' Caren Hugo, Sara Schneider and Sally Hunter are among some of the few familiar faces.
"There's a couple of girls that I've played against previously in Wagga netball and in other leagues," Norbury said.
"It's been a nice change.
"I think it's just nice turning up each week and not having any preconceived ideas about the team you're coming up against."
Lockhart has enjoyed a strong start to the season with just one loss to Jindera so far.

The Demons have welcomed Olivia Lang and Ruby Bouffler into the side alongside Norbury, with this weekend set to mark just the second time this season they'll have a full squad.
"Players have been stepping up into new roles each week trying to fill gaps," Norbury said.
"The girls have been fitting those positions really well.
"We've got a lot of versatility which is nice."
Osborne is so far undefeated and is coming off the back of a win against Jindera.
"I'm just excited to see what's to come of this week and the rest of the season," Norbury said.
In other round seven Hume League matches, CDHBU will host Howlong, Culcairn will meet Holbrook, Henty clash with Rand-Walbundrie-Walla, Jindera take on Brock-Burrum and Murray Magpies play Billabong Crows.
The Tigers and Demons will meet at Osborne.
