The inclusion of five players from Thurgoona's 2019 premiership side wasn't enough for Corryong to upstage reigning Upper Murray premiers Bullioh at Corryong on Saturday.

Star Albury and Thurgoona forward Matt Fowler was cleared for the contest at the 11th hour and booted six majors, but Bullioh had a great spread of contributors across the field to produce a 21.15 (141) to 11.6 (72) victory.
Corryong was still in the contest at half-time, but six goals to one in the third term put the result beyond doubt for Bullioh.
Leo Nicolson was dominant in the ruck, while Jacob Curran, Jye Hodgkin and Taylor Fenton turned in impressive performances.
Young gun Harry Schubert continued his form up forward with four goals for the Bulldogs, Shane Price booted four of his own, while co-coaches Josh Walters and Kelvin Wallace nabbed three apiece.
Sam Cross booted two and was among Corryong's best in his second game back for his home club, while Patrick Riley, Thomas Shanks, Evan Nicholas and Ben Hewatt also stood out.
ALSO IN SPORT:
Wallace said his side started to play its desired style throughout the contest and was able to negate the threat of key players Josh Maher, Matt Murray and Kane Westlow, who were lured to the club through their connection with Cross.
"We still had a couple of our best players out, but we played some of our best footy," Wallace said.
"It was good to finally get on track with how we want to be playing. Everyone played their role.
"If we keep getting those numbers back into our side and continue playing that style of footy, we'll be where we want to be.
"It was handy having Jye Hodgkin playing for us in the middle and hopefully he'll stick around and play with us a bit more."
Meanwhile, Cudgewa survived a major test from Tumbarumba to move two games clear on top with a 13.10 (88) to 8.6 (54) triumph at Cudgewa.
Less than two goals separated the sides at the final change, but four goals to one in the final term saw the Blues home.
Robert Phibbs, Josh Boyle, Riley Petts, Dayne Carey, Michael Voight and Jake Vinge were on fire for the hosts.
Cudgewa was without star forward Kylin Morey with a knee injury, but had nine individual goal kickers.
Tumbarumba recruits Jacob Read, Harry Nunn and Hunter Clayton impressed, along with James Crozier and Henry Waters.
Federal had the bye.
The ladder after round six is: Cudgewa 20, Bullioh 12, Tumbarumba 12, Corryong 4, Federal 0.
