Ben Lee will perform at SS&A Albury on Friday, June 4.
Lee began his musical career aged 14 with Sydney punk band Noise Addict, but focused on his solo career when the band split in 1995.
From his first acoustic-driven solo album Grandpaw Would in 1995 (featuring Liz Phair), Lee's songs have always taken his most complex and romantic yearnings, compressing them into catchy and melodic pop songs.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Cigarettes Will Kill You from Breathing Tornados (1999) has become a modern Australian classic while Hard Drive and All My Life were hailed by American rocker Bruce Springsteen as his favourites that year.
Lee gained worldwide recognition with Awake is the New Sleep (2005), spawning the hit Catch My Disease.
Doors to the Albury gig open at 7.30pm.
