It comes as the Victorian government announced from tomorrow everyone over 40 can now be vaccinated.
Chief operating officer Emma Poland said the decision was made as a precaution in light of COVID outbreak in Melbourne.
She said the organisation wants to reduce the risk to staff and patients.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"We don't want this to be a deterrent in any way for people to be vaccinated as this is our best protection against COVID-19," Ms Poland said.
"We are still accepting bookings either at the clinic or by phoning 1800 675 398.
"When people come to the clinic, they will be asked at the front door whether they have an appointment or are looking to make one and lines will be separated accordingly.
"We do ask that people use their common sense, however, and don't gather in large groups outside the clinic in line with COVIDSafe measures.
"As soon as we can safely return to accepting walk-ins, we will advise the public."
Ms Poland said the outbreak had placed high demand on the 1800 number and reminded people they may have to wait on hold.
"Our testing clinic is open from 8am to 4pm Monday to Saturday and is located next to the Wodonga Hospital," she said.
"There are other testing sites on both sides of the Border and these are listed on Albury Wodonga Health's website."
"There is currently high demand for testing at the Wodonga clinic and around the state so there may be some wait times for those who wish to be tested.
"We do ask that people don't present to the emergency departments for testing."
