The talented 16-year-old is bound for Europe on Friday to contest World Cup events, with Austria his first stop.
He's set to compete in Leogang on June 13, competing in the under-19s.
France is also on his itinerary.
"I'm pretty nervous, but also excited," Davis said.
"It will be very good."
He's set to be accompanied by fellow border racing product Dean Lucas.
Davis admitted Lucas will be there to take him under his wing, having already had plenty of racing experience overseas.
ALSO IN SPORT:
"Dean's been there before, so he'll know what it's all like," he said.
Davis is taking good form with him, having had a positive lead up on the track over the last few months.
He claimed first place at the last round of the Victorian Downhill Series in Mansfield, taking out the under-19s.
"I've just been riding downhill at Bright lately for training," he said.
Davis will have training breaks in between World Cup events, and is set to remain overseas until later this year.
It's the youngsters first time leaving the country.
Other World Cup events will be held in France, Slovenia and Switzerland.
